As a small business, Intrepid has already been awarded multiple prime contracts in the Defense and Intelligence communities of the U.S. Government. Mr. Hebert has over 40 years experience at all leadership levels across both private and publically traded companies. His extensive experience includes leading firms in the normalized, emergent, and turnaround stages of operations and in all facets of financing operations, both from a lender's and a borrower's perspective. From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Hebert served as Senior Advisor to PNC Bank, N.A. He was also President, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Director of Riggs Bank, N.A. from 2001 to 2005. He was CEO of Riggs Bank's parent company, Riggs National Corporation, in 2005, and a Director from 1988 until 2005 when Riggs was acquired by PNC Bank. At Allbritton Communications Company, Mr. Hebert served as Vice Chairman from 1983 to 1998, President from 1984 to 1998, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 1998 to 2001. Since 1989, he has served a member of the Board of Directors of Allied Capital Corporation (NYSE), a Business Development Company (BDC), engaged in the private equity business, providing long-term debt and equity investment capital to primarily middle market companies throughout the U.S. As Lead Director, Mr. Hebert worked with the Board of Directors to successfully complete the sale of Allied Capital Corporation to Ares Capital Corporation (NASDAQ) in 2010. Mr. Hebert currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Dominion Advisory Group, LLC, a leading provider of risk management services for financial institutions.
Mr. Steve Hood has over 27 years of service to our nation, with 26 of those years in the US Army. Mr. Hood is a graduate from George Mason University and was a career Military Intelligence (MI) Officer. He began his Army career at Ft Bragg, NC with the 82nd Airborne Division serving in artillery, infantry and intelligence units. Following Ft Bragg he was assigned to Korea as a Detachment & Company Commander in the 501st MI Brigade. After two years in Korea Mr. Hood returned to the US to be assigned at the National Security Agency (NSA). Upon completion of a four year assignment at NSA Mr. Hood returned to Korea as the Chief of Imagery Collection for US Forces Korea, and then back to 501st MI BDE as a Battalion Executive Officer. Upon return to the US, Mr. Hood served in the Pentagon as a Signals Intelligence Policy Staff Officer. Some of his other notable achievements as a field grade officer include Battalion Command at NSA Hawaii/732nd MI Bn, being appointed as MI Branch Chief at the Human Resources Command in charge of Officer Assignments; National War College at Ft. McNair receiving a Masters in Strategic Studies; selected for Brigade Command at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) in Charlottesville, VA. Following Brigade command he deployed to Iraq where he served as US Forces Iraq (USFI) Joint Intelligence and Operations Center (JIOC) Director and Chief of Staff for the J2 USFI. Mr. Hood retired from the US Army in November of 2010 and has been continuing his intelligence career in support of DoD and the Intelligence Community.
Mr. Love is the program manager for Intrepid's migration contracts. He has 26 years of experience in information technology, working in positions ranging from systems administrator, to applications and database developer, to project and program manager. He retired from the Air Force Reserves in the rank of Major as a Communications and Information Officer after 21 years of service on Active Duty and in the Reserves. Mr. Love has led projects and managed contracts at over a dozen government organizations, including the US Air Force, the US Army, the US Marine Corps, the US Navy, the Department of State, the Social Security Administration, the National Security Agency, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and the United States Geological Survey. Mr. Love holds a Masters of Business Administration from Averett University, a BA in Computer Science from Thomas Edison State College, and two associate degrees as well. He formerly held the Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certifications, and currently holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certifications.
Mr. Duncan has over 16 years of federal government and contractor experience. Mr. Duncan entered private industry in 2003 and has since been an integral part of the start-up and early growth phases of four successful industry contractors. He has overseen a broad range of industry support efforts, from large-scale client IT initiatives to intelligence and counter-terrorism support operations. Mr. Duncan has directed programs with worldwide application, designed and managed corporate deployment programs, and personally directed staff operations in a variety of foreign theaters, including Afghanistan and Iraq. In addition to directing Business Development for Intrepid, Mr. Duncan oversees all corporate Army Programs and has directed the company's INSCOM OMNIBUS III Prime contract efforts from procurement through current operations. A graduate of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, he began his career in the ARMY ROTC cadet corps at UVA before transitioning to serve with a national intelligence agency following graduation.
Mr. Rentch brings to Intrepid over 17 years of IT experience and 12 years in the Defense Industry. Serving as Intrepid's top technology architect, and a former Sr. Architect and Consultant for Quest Software, Chris is a customer-facing professional focusing on the successful delivery of Intrepid's overall IT strategy and business offering, including a unique role as one of the very few Certified Subject Matter Expert across 3 major global efforts for the US Intelligence Community, delivering risk-averse Enterprise Consolidation. Other responsibilities in his focus are Intrepid Corporate IT strategy, new business capture, new and existing vendor relationships. Mr. Rentch holds a diverse technical knowledge, multiple technical certifications, has written several whitepapers, and studied at George Mason University and the University of Maryland.
Mr. Hebert has over 10 years of professional services experience across multiple industry disciplines in accounting and finance. His government contracting experience includes working with major contractors in the logistics, program management, litigation support, preparation and analysis of cost volumes for multiple contract types, and cost impact studies. His experience spans the entire lifecycle of government contracting. A graduate of George Mason University in Fairfax where he earned a BS in Accounting, he began his career as a Certified Public Accountant at one of the largest regional accounting firms in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. In addition to being a CPA, Mr. Hebert received his Government Contracting Accounting certification from George Mason University. Mr. Hebert is a member of the Accounting Advisory Council at George Mason University, as well as, a member of the American Institute Certified Public Accountants, Virginia Society Certified Public Accountants, and the Greater Washington Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Bjorn has over 14 years experience managing efforts within the Department of Defense, both in and out of uniform. Mr. Bjorn held operational and management positions in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer and Naval Nuclear Propulsion Engineer. In his final assignment, he led a 75-person crew during reactor plant construction and testing prior to commissioning of USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76). Since transitioning to the private sector, he has supported several departments and agencies within DoD, and helped to manage programs for several small and successful industry contractors. Most recently on contract as part of the Chief of Naval Operations staff (OPNAV N81), Mr. Bjorn administered the Navy's JCIDS process and provided subject matter expertise regarding JCIDS and related acquisition processes. He also manages Intrepid's support to the Navy's Urgent Needs Process and knowledge management system. Lars holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Virginia and a Masters in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University.
Mr. Dunn has over twenty-nine years of extensive leadership experience in developing and delivering customer solutions for global transportation and multi-functional logistics management, force development processes, concepts, and operational planning. Currently serving in the Army Reserve as a Brigadier General, he is a results oriented leader and manager with superior organizational and motivational skills. He has served on the Army and Joint Staff in the Pentagon and has successfully led multiple organizations in the United States and overseas (Germany and Korea) in strategic planning and processes improvement by building teams resulting in solving complex organizational problems. Trained in Lean Six Sigma, he continues to develop innovative programs resulting in organizational performance, cost efficiencies, and optimization of personnel. Mr. Dunn holds a Master's of Science Degree in Strategic Studies from the Army War College Carlisle Barracks, PA and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music, Arkansas Tech University, Russellville, AR.
Ms. Terri Shaw serves as Intrepid's Director of Training Services. In this role, Ms. Shaw applies over 12 years experience with local, state, and federal government organizations towards fulfilling our personnel management, project management, and general business needs. Exhibiting a Bachelors Degree in Education Management, a Masters in Instructional Technology, and both PMP and ITIL certifications, Intrepid utilizes Ms. Shaw's expertise to support a wide variety of projects to include, but not limited to: Training and Development initiatives for various intelligence agencies; Project Management for the DoD, USCG, DOE, and NARA; and Business Development efforts to support our federal government customers' needs in training, education, operations, and analysis.
